Very tasty breakfast at a fair price. The ambience is simply fantastic.
A must. Great atmosphere Delicious breakfast
Beautiful and delicious food?
A really successful location. Exciting and delicious at the same time.
Friendly employees greet you in the café. The waffles and cocoa were delicious. You can have breakfast, cake or other snacks in a unique crime thriller atmosphere.
A must for every fan of crime novels, whether Derrick, Columbo, Barnaby, Marple or Ms. Haas. The cafe has a warm and friendly atmosphere. You should definitely plan a lot of time here to do research in the criminal archives or to play one or the other crime game.
Nice cafe. Cake tastes very good and the service was great.
Lunch was disappointing unfortunately
Great thriller atmosphere, an excellent start or end to a visit to the thriller house. Delicious English-inspired dishes and a fine afternoon tea.
Quaint and cozy, to feel good. As an England fan, my heart opened up and I suddenly felt wanderlust. Delicious scones. But: if 2 people sit at a table and order 2 meals, it would be nice if both could eat at the same time. My husband had almost finished his meal when my toast finally came. The service could be friendlier and more attentive. Don't worry, we'll be back. Guaranteed. The Sherlock Cookies are incredibly tasty and were eaten in no time.
The cafe is worth a visit and offers everything a criminalist's heart desires. On the lower floor there are different seating areas for different crime series or films, such as Orient Express, Poirot and many others. Sometimes there are no showcases in the tables with props from various series and films. On the first floor you will find an antiquated crime book where you can sit down and read the books and buy them for a few euros. On the 2nd and 3rd floor you can find yourself in a library for crime novels again. These books can also be browsed in various reading corners, but they cannot be purchased. There are 30,000 books in alphabetical order in the archives. In addition to the novels, there is also a play area to match the theme. If all of this is not enough, you can test your criminal skills and solve a staged case, or admire the Sherlock Holmes or Agatha Christi exhibition. You can easily lose a day in the café if you enjoy reading and forget about the time. For us, one of the most beautiful corners of the Eifel, which invites you to linger with delicious drinks, cakes and small delicacies.
Cozy and rustic are not concepts for this unique café. Whether cake or toast, you can endure it here. Delicious and worth every visit!
Unfortunately, very unfriendly service. We wanted to have a cafe here and then went to the cafe across the street. First of all, we went there to ask if they had room. We were turned away with the request to come back later - when we came back we didn't get a table, although there was a free table outside. We couldn't even be given information about when something would be available again. We are very disappointed.
Great quaint cafe! Miss Marple's Cream Tea is awesome! The nut corners are also great. Otherwise just totally beautiful, lovingly individually furnished! A great place!
Definitely go there. Delicious carrotcake and great small dishes. Take your time there is tons to see. Just great! I'll be back!
This really crowded and we needed to wait a while to get a table. (We didn't reserved one). To go upstairs is in my eyes really important, it's beautiful up there and worth the look!
We had takeaway cakes for four (as described on Google page for service) and found that the order took for ever to arrive (20 minutes) so although we very much enjoyed the cakes ( especially the marzipan chocolate and cream, so unusual but excellent flavours as long as you like marzipan? ). Possible more of Sherlock Holmes and less about other crime detectives? Would of kept my Shelock Holmes fan son-in-law more interested. Overall, interesting concept with very good cakes
The drinks are very tasty,it looks awesome and has many details. The waitress is kind, also the cookies are just amazing.
Great for crime fans. You can discover a lot. The cafe is unique.
Exciting location, there is something new to discover every time. Books, props, odds and ends ... Oh and the cake and the small dishes are very tasty!
Very tasty cake and the coffee was great. Nice personel. Gladly again :)
Cozy breakfast in a very special atmosphere. The service was very friendly and accommodating. It is worth to explore the whole building. :)
A very nice Sherlock Holmes themed café.
It was oké. I had expected more. A lot of stuff cramped into a small space. Some nice memorabilia though, best if which a almost life-size painting of David Suchet as Hercule Poirot signed by David Suchet. The cakes were disappointing.
Very nicely decorated with special details mega many books really looks special.
One of the most beautiful and lovingly decorated cafes I know! The service was friendly and helpful, the coffee specialties always delicious and the cakes homemade and delicious. We like to come and do not shy away from the longer journey. Worth seeing is the exhibition / Crime Library of which I attached some photos.
A special place to have a coffee or tea with some cake. Worth the visit.
Super
a place to call home for all fans of old Victorian sherlock crime related things. great vibe, great staff, great food and drinks.they did go all the way with even giving the drinks and food sherlock and Poirot worthy names.
Must see...
Very cosy and charming cafe. All tables have different styles, making you think you are in a train station, a crime scene, etc. Old style with a lot of old style posters. On the first and second floor there is a book store filled with crime books.
